Voodoo, The Progress

I don’t really know where to start on this one. I got some questions on how I made my last post and how long it took in photoshop, I didn’t really keep a timer on it, but I think I spent around 20-30 hours all in all, to make all the pictures that I posted in last weeks post. Then I guess one has to add the 4 hour photo shoot on that.

The items and textures added on with the magic of photoshop, are my own pictures, creative commons and from other collections.

For everything else, me and Nasime saved and found random stuff that we thought would fit into the shoot. Like old cans, jars, candles, plants and other stuff.

So here you go, a little behind the photoshop scene!

If you haven’t seen the post from last week’s, check it out, might make more sense if you look at that one first.

In all honesty, with a little order and text you can come a long way. It’s easy to get lost in all the layers once you get started. Just naming some of the layers saves you a lot of time, and I mean A LOT of time. I learnt that the hard way.

Overexposed

This is going to be a really short project post. Well not a project post more like a work in progress test post.  I recently started to look for old portraits, wanted to try working an overexposed look with a lot of contrast. Nothing much really, still working on it.

oh and yeah, I might have some good stuff coming upp this month on the blog, Small projects I’ve started, and maybe if I’m lucky some photos from Norway and Denmark. Fingers crossed.

Have a good one and enjoy the portraits!

Meet me in Paris

Last weekend had a lot of “firsts” in it for me. My first trip to Paris, My first Louvre walk, my first Crème brûlée, and my first legit utter of the words “Je voudrais un croque monsieur, s’il vous plaît” (ordering a freaking amazeballss grilled ham and cheese sandwich). Had been waiting for almost 10 years to say that xD . It might not look like much 2 the world, but honestly if you get the chance drop by “La Fregate” and grab a Coffee or a Coke and a Croque monsieur!

Anyway when back in reality I decided on making the weekend in Paris into 2 posts. Didn’t want to bore you with to many pictures at once.

So here we go! Enjoy Paris from a 35 mm lens!
