Philippines, 2018

I’m half. Half swedish and half filipina. 50% fika eating IKEA-meatball lover and 50% rice cooking, smooth hair growing island peep. Swedish mentality with a mix of asian culture and traditions, in other words I’m the person who goes “I understand what you mean, but I disagree, but we’re still friends right?” Love the fact that I’m currently in bed laughing at myself hehe

What I want to get at, is that I’m me! And I would like to share a little part of it with you.

The pictures below is from my latest trip to the Philippines. My second home. Enjoy!

And hey, there’s a movie at the end, feel free to check it out if you want ! <3

Tokyo 2018

So I went to Tokyo with Jens a couple of weeks ago! For so many years I told my self, I want to go to Tokyo, and guys! I DID IT! And it was the coolest trip I’ve made so far. 1 day in and I already knew that this wouldn’t be my last visit.

I don’t know where to start, the food, the culture, the hype, the people, the lights! I’m gonna let the pictures speak for themself. I also made a movie about the trip, check it out if you haven’t seen it <3

Hope you like the post! <3

Work of art? Art for work?

A while back I asked my workmates if I could take some pictures of them and make “little-big-people”art. After quite a few hours or should I say a couple of days behind the computer, alot of figuring out the things that to me represented each individual and a little magic here and there. I finally finished the posters. And I’m quite satisfied with the outcome!

Hope you like it!

Want to see some more? Check out this post from a while back :D

I never met a lasagna I didn’t like

Googled lasagna quotes and found this —> “I never met a lasagna I didn’t like”, and you know what, It’s sooo true! Best of all, a lasagna works as comfort food during rough times, and at the same time it also works as a classy high end dish at a 5 star restaurant. Hard to beat, that one is!

I’ve eaten a lot of lasagna during my little life on this earth, but none of them was as good as the one I had in Sicily (Sis you know which one I’m talking about), therefore I have chosen not to try to replicate that one. Instead I’ve chosen to try a vegetarian recipe for this weeks post. You vant really get the Sicilian sun and aromas here in Sweden. But back to the veggie lasagna, “This one wasn’t too shabby if you know what I mean!

The Golden Hour

My computer is old and he is dying, I think I pushed him a little to much this time. I’m gonna try to revive him, and try to finish this post via my phone. This post is just going to be totally random one.  Grabbed some random pictures that was on my camera from a trip to MAX with some friends last week.

I pulled over to the side on the old road to take some pictures by the lake, and told my brother to take pictures of the road and telling him how to hold the camera while I was the one keeping my eyes on the road and doing the driving. He didn’t do that bad of a job, now did he! ;D

I hope I won’t miss next weeks post, but i can’t promise anything. I might have a new computer on its way. One never knows.

Have a great sunday!

Road Trip to Denmark

Last week I got the opportunity to join a group of really amazing friends on a little road trip to Denmark, and who can say no to that (not me obviously!).

To sum the week up its been all about “Ohana“, swimming in the sea, sightseeing, playing board games and eating! And when I say eating I mean eating, fish everyday ftw!

Also met an angry ice cream man, 4 naked old men at the beach, walked halfblind trough limestone mines and been wardrobe to death itself (but thats a totally different story).

Anyway, long story short, here’s some pictures of the adventure!

Enjoy!

Alicante part. 1

Hola chicas y chicos!  Sooo I went on this last minute trip to Alicante last week with Len. Came back with pretty brownish legs, a burnt forehead, full stomach and a brain full of memories. The food, the people, the still siesta buzz in the air, do I need to say more.

So here you go, get ready for a little mix of late aftenoon/night in Alicante – part 1.

Little Big People

framesA few weeks ago I was roaming around on the internet looking for inspiration for this project. I knew I wanted to work with people and also brush up on retouching and photo manipulation.

Came across an amazing post on Behance by Photographer Quentin Curtat and High-end freelance retoucher Cristian Girotto, that got me thinking. So I decided on trying to make something similar but older, more rough around the edges with a little twist.

Hope you like it!
