Philippines, 2018

I’m half. Half swedish and half filipina. 50% fika eating IKEA-meatball lover and 50% rice cooking, smooth hair growing island peep. Swedish mentality with a mix of asian culture and traditions, in other words I’m the person who goes “I understand what you mean, but I disagree, but we’re still friends right?” Love the fact that I’m currently in bed laughing at myself hehe

What I want to get at, is that I’m me! And I would like to share a little part of it with you.

The pictures below is from my latest trip to the Philippines. My second home. Enjoy!

And hey, there’s a movie at the end, feel free to check it out if you want ! <3

When in doubt, vacation!

Why not spend the first week of your vacation in Greece? That’s what I did!

Long days on the beach, boat rides, evening dining and a big ass fishbowl! That’s how I’m going to sum up the vacation with the girls.

And Hey! Can anyone please FedEx me the oven-baked feta cheese with honey please? I miss it so much!

I don’t think I have anything else to add, Imma let the pictures do the talking!

I never met a lasagna I didn’t like

Googled lasagna quotes and found this —> “I never met a lasagna I didn’t like”, and you know what, It’s sooo true! Best of all, a lasagna works as comfort food during rough times, and at the same time it also works as a classy high end dish at a 5 star restaurant. Hard to beat, that one is!

I’ve eaten a lot of lasagna during my little life on this earth, but none of them was as good as the one I had in Sicily (Sis you know which one I’m talking about), therefore I have chosen not to try to replicate that one. Instead I’ve chosen to try a vegetarian recipe for this weeks post. You vant really get the Sicilian sun and aromas here in Sweden. But back to the veggie lasagna, “This one wasn’t too shabby if you know what I mean!

So I went to Norway, to meet up with some friends and family, check out Oslo, Kongsberg and also to do a little good and honest work.  So with the little blisters still on my hands and swollen feet still recuperating from running around, I present to you my trip to Norway.

Wearable Food

I still have a food thing going on here on the blog, can’t really help it. Started this project last friday/saturday, didn’t really turn out as expected but then again it never does. My little studio still smell of chickpeas, glue and beans. So here we go, a little beans, sesame seeds, chickpeas and coffee  jewellery for everyone.

Meet me in Paris

Last weekend had a lot of “firsts” in it for me. My first trip to Paris, My first Louvre walk, my first Crème brûlée, and my first legit utter of the words “Je voudrais un croque monsieur, s’il vous plaît” (ordering a freaking amazeballss grilled ham and cheese sandwich). Had been waiting for almost 10 years to say that xD . It might not look like much 2 the world, but honestly if you get the chance drop by “La Fregate” and grab a Coffee or a Coke and a Croque monsieur!

Anyway when back in reality I decided on making the weekend in Paris into 2 posts. Didn’t want to bore you with to many pictures at once.

So here we go! Enjoy Paris from a 35 mm lens!

Stores and vendors – NYC part 3

Walking around china town, little Italy and other random streets in New york I found some cozy places and funny people. Some doing stuff like starting a fire in the middle of the street, others just sitting, relaxing, smiling or stressing over customers. I didn’t get that “There’s always a buzz going on in New York”. But I think I do now.

This post is gonna be all about the vendors and stores that fill our stomachs with delicious food and mysteriously make the extra change disappear from our pockets!
