Alicante part. 1

Hola chicas y chicos!  Sooo I went on this last minute trip to Alicante last week with Len. Came back with pretty brownish legs, a burnt forehead, full stomach and a brain full of memories. The food, the people, the still siesta buzz in the air, do I need to say more.

So here you go, get ready for a little mix of late aftenoon/night in Alicante – part 1.

Wearable Food

I still have a food thing going on here on the blog, can’t really help it. Started this project last friday/saturday, didn’t really turn out as expected but then again it never does. My little studio still smell of chickpeas, glue and beans. So here we go, a little beans, sesame seeds, chickpeas and coffee  jewellery for everyone.

The diapositive project

It’s after christmas now, that means that I finally can share one of the longest and sneakiest christmas project I’ve done so far. 2,5 months of dealing  with white lies, borrowing scanning equipment and hours retouching, noise, scratch and damage removal from almost 100 diapositives or in other words slides. Designing and developing you name it, I’ve done it!

It started with my Auntie talking about all the slides they had in the basement, we brought some up and her husband started talking about the pictures, looking at them trough the projector on a white sheet that was hung over the bookcase. I saw some funny pictures of dad, think he was about my age, and asked if I could borrow some of the pictures, so I could “show dad”. Little by little I started “borrowing” more slides, scanning them, give them back.

So here we go, let me present a mix of the pictures that got printed in the book, before and after, work in progress during the time and much more.

Stores and vendors – NYC part 3

Walking around china town, little Italy and other random streets in New york I found some cozy places and funny people. Some doing stuff like starting a fire in the middle of the street, others just sitting, relaxing, smiling or stressing over customers. I didn’t get that “There’s always a buzz going on in New York”. But I think I do now.

This post is gonna be all about the vendors and stores that fill our stomachs with delicious food and mysteriously make the extra change disappear from our pockets!

The Wedding – NYC part 2

We had ourselves a major walking day crossing 3 bridges, Williamsburg bridge, Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan bridge. After we crossed Brooklyn Bridge we stopped to rest our feet and to have some Ice-cream at Dumbo (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass). I saw this lady walking/looking around checking out the place with a couple of cameras. My guess was that she was looking for a location, well to be honest it wasn’t so hard to guess, behind her was a beeeeaaautiful bride and groom. I couldn’t really help myself, I stole a couple of wedding shots. Their names will remain a mystery I guess.

The streets of New York – NYC part 1

Am I weird when I say that I like watching people? What they do? How they do stuff? reactions, actions, facial expressions xD Well I do that sometimes, or should I say most of the time. With or without my camera.

I took the opportunity to stop once in a while during my trip to New york, look at the surroundings and the people in it. found some moments and took some pictures. Here Are some random pictures from the parks and streets of New york.

Hope you like it!

Kongsberg, Norway

So as some of you might have noticed I went to Kongsberg, Norway, to work and to meet some old friends of the family. The work at the Restaurant was a sweet experience and  the scenery was super! Amazing new friends, long crazy hours at work, couple of drinks and tons of laughters. Can’t wait to visit Norway again!

Here’s some pictures of Kongsberg outside work, for starters.
